NOTICE TO MEMBERS RE: Dues Renewals

Posted By: Rob Grinage for NMLTA Announcements, Member Alerts,

Your NMLTA membership will renew on January 1, 2025. We are giving notice to all members that for 2025 and going forward, NMLTA will strictly adhere to our Bylaws in regards to dues invoicing and collection, as set forth in Article II, Section 4:

Section 4. Dues. All Members shall pay dues as set by the Board of Directors, from time to time of each year in accordance with a schedule fixed by the Board of Directors. The annual dues statements shall be provided to all Members in the first month of the fiscal year. A Member two months in default on the payment of dues shall be notified in writing by the Executive Director that their membership is suspended and all benefits of membership are revoked. The Board, in its discretion by majority vote, may reinstate the Member upon payment of the current years’ dues or upon partial payment with an agreement for installment payments of the balance of the current year's dues.

If no one at your company receives a dues invoice, please contact the Membership Committee.  Some branch offices in Direct or Affiliated agancies may not receive a separate invoice, but may be paying dues through a parent company, so we will need to do some investigating to find out the situation. If necessary we will add or correct the proper contact information in our system for your company.  We are asking agency owners, managers, billing contacts, etc. to be on the “look-out” for a dues notification and invoice from us, and to handle them accordingly.

These renewed efforts in dues notification and collection procedures are intended to minimize extra time and effort involved in tracking and collection.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
