In an effort to assist you with your ASR/USR preparation below is the information for the 2021 Lobbying Percentage:
Deductibility of Dues / Lobbying Percent
By federal law, we are required to provide each of our members with the following disclosure regarding their 2021 dues.
Dues to the New Mexico Land Title Association (NMLTA) are not deductible as a charitable contribution but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
The non-deductible portion of dues for 2021 attributable to lobbying activities is 10.1%.
