NMLTA Designation is the Title Professional's credential to demonstrate your knowledge and experience in our industry. In today's competitive market it is important to distinguish yourself, and earning your NMLTA Designation is an ideal way to do so. We will offer the following official Designations to qualified member employees:

For member employees with 3 years or more experience as a licensed title officer; who have 20 or more hours of Continuing Education credits in the past 5 years; and have passed our Certification exam for Title Examination. |

For member employees with 3 years or more experience as a licensed escrow officer; who have 20 or more hours of Continuing Education credits in the past 5 years; and have passed our Certification exam for Escrow Settlement. |

For member employees with 7 years or more experience as a licensed title or escrow officer; who have 20 or more hours of Continuing Education credits in the past 5 years; and have received both CTEP and CESP Certification from NMLTA, or have passed a specialized exam. |

- Certified Escrow Settlement Professional (CESP): Ideal for title insurance professionals in the escrow/settlement area.
- Certified Title Examination Professional (CTEP): Designed for title insurance professionals working in the examination/commitment/policy area.
- Certified Title Insurance Specialist (CTIP): Tailored for title professionals with extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of title insurance.
Upon approval you will receive an e-mail notification confirming your acceptance, and further instructions about taking the exam.
Certification Fees:
For Members Only:
Certified Professional Membership: $100.00
First Additional Designation: $50.00
Second Additional Designation: $25.00
Renewal Fee: $75.00 (for 1 Designation) or $100.00 (for 2 or 3 Designations)
Re-Test Fee: $50.00*
NOTE: In order to maintain your certification, you must renew every 3 years.
* If you fail to renew within the 3 year period, a Re-Test will be required.
