CALL FOR 2023-24 NMLTA Board Nominations

The NMLTA Nominating Committee is currently working to formulate the slate of nominees to be elected to serve on the 2023-2024 NMLTA Board of Directors. The ten member Board of Directors is balanced with half independent agents and half underwriters per the NMLTA bylaws. Terms are for two years; Directors frequently serve more than one term.
 
The NMLTA is currently soliciting nominations for an Agent Member Director and an Underwriter Member Director.
 
If you would like to nominate a NMLTA member for consideration, please use the nomination form linked below. Candidates must be employed by a NMLTA member agent or underwriter company. Nominees should have proven leadership and decision-making skills, be effective communicators, and have the ability to commit the time required of the position. As you nominate candidates for the Nominating Committee's consideration, please be aware that the committee works to ensure the overall board makeup represents a diverse cross section of the industry in terms of gender/race/ethnicity, size and type of company, geographic location across the state, etc.
 
Nominations for the 2023-2024 NMLTA Board of Directors are due to the Nominating Committee by Wednesday, April 5, 2023.  Nominations can be sent to rob@nmlta.org.
 
All nominees will be considered by the committee. Even though there are limited openings in any given year, all nominees will also be placed on a list for future consideration as well.
